TWD homes is a multi-million dollar homebuilder based in Tulsa, OK. They were in need of a visual identity that communicated excellence and precision in a market already saturated with quality homebuilders. The big challenge was to develop a unique brand which relayed this message, “Building homes as if for my own family”.
We embarked on an identity creation process with the owner utilizing his tagline, “building homes as if for my family”. This gave birth to a new, concise, and expressive tagline “Integrity In Homebuilding.” Our inspiration for the logo came from the offset placement of an owl’s ears, upon it’s own head. By having one ear higher than the other, this allows the owl to very accurately identify where a sound may be coming from. While the mark may appear to be as simple as two floorboards positioned next to each other, our hope is that as the brand grows, consumers understand their voice will be heard and desires of their hearts satisfied when TWD Homes builds them their own custom home.
